UPDATE: I started this when I was back in the states but only got to finishing it about a week into my trip! Internet issues and sickness have kept me away, but I am going to try to catch up the next few days!
Out of Many, One Education Explained
It's only a few days from me departing to Jamaica to start my student teaching expereince, so I figured it was about time I decided on a name for my blog and start it! I had some help from my freind Eli who is much more creative than I am.
It turns out that Jamaica's motto is "Out of Many, One People" in reference to their coat of arms and as a symbol of unity among the various cultures that inhabit the nation. A picture of their coat of arms can be seen below:
So, I changed the motto a bit to reflect my passion and the purpose of this blog which is to talk about education across all settings and people; Out of Many, One Education. I will document my weekend trips and my cultural experience in and out of the classroom.
